The final numbers are in for 2018 West of the Trail and it looks like we're definitely in a slowdown. Homes are selling for less, taking longer to sell and the inventory has swelled with an absorption rate of 9 months. A lot of people have asked where the market is headed and all numbers indicate that Sellers need to be smarter when selling their homes; they need to price according the current market, present their home in it's best light possible and need to be flexible when the market changes. The good news is that Buyers are out there but they have a lot of choices. Work with your real estate professional on setting expectations on pricing, marketing and timing.
