"On vacation from NYC in the Spring of 2001, I got a '25 cent tour' around Downtown, Burns Court, Southside Village and Siesta Key from some family friends that just moved from Boston, and I knew I was home.

I loved the 'cool vibe', the historic neighborhoods and buildings surrounded by palm trees and flowers, so on May 28th, 2001, I flew out of Newark and 15 years later I can say that I don't regret one moment moving down here.  I found the most wonderful man and married him (a transplant from Seattle), have developed a career over 14+ years that I love and adore this ever-changing and growing city.

And YES (!) it IS a city.  It's not NYC but we have everything you can want PLUS one of the prettiest shorelines in the country, world-class dining, unlimited outdoor activities YEAR ROUND and people are happy to meet new arrivals!

Let me help you find the 'right fit' for you here in Sarasota, whether it's a condo on the beach on Longboat Key, a Mid-Century Modern on Siesta Key or a sweet bungalow West of the Trail."

This town has so much to offer are some things I love about Sarasota...

  • Meeting a friend for breakfast at Station 400 downtown and then heading over to find something fun and kitchy in the Rosemary District at either Architectual Salvage or Canned Ham.

  • On an early morning before the day gets started, heading over the south bridge to Siesta Key for a meditative walk on the beach, watching the dolphins and pelicans feed and then grabbing a cup of coffee in the village before sitting down at my desk.

  • Watching everyone of my Facebook feed who lives up north suffering through snow and record cold temps (sorry!  Well, not really!)

  • Getting to meet so many people from all over the world that were all attracted to the beach and warm weather and actually realizing that there is a vibrant and deep cultural and intelligent community here.

  • Seeing more and more 'creatives' generating stores, companies, restaurants that raise Sarasota up to the standards of larger cities.

  • Knowing that Sarasota will give you the opportunity to do anything and be anyone you need to be to be happy!  This is a very accepting town.
