"Coral Cove isn't a showy neighborhood. Driving south on U.S. 41, the strip mall with the Original Oyster Bar is more noticeable than the entrance to the 1960s neighborhood. But follow Caribbean Drive west from the ungated entrance, and you'll come to one of the most expensive blocks in Sarasota...It used to be a hidden jewel, and there are still people who don't know it's back here," says Jane Rees. It's such a friendly neighborhood. We love to watch the dolphins." Dorthy Stockbridge-Pratt (HT May 3, 2003)
It's true! Many Sarasotans DON'T know what back here in Coral Cove. Just incredible canal and bayfront homes along with garden ranch homes that hide away from the hustle of US 41 and all the development just north and south. If these homes were up in Harbor Acres, they'd be twice the price! There's also a neighborhood park where owners bring their children and doggies. Boat owners can use the launch in the park. What a great place to live!
